Quotations
A quotation will set out the scope, price, payment schedule, estimated lead time, delivery or installation arrangements, and any exclusions. Work starts only after the stated measurements, specification and deposit requirements are confirmed.
Measurements and specifications
Customers must check that submitted information is accurate. Where SM Glasstech undertakes a survey, the quotation will explain the survey scope and any assumptions. Technical specifications and load requirements must be agreed for the individual project.
Supply, delivery and installation
The quotation will confirm whether the project is supply only, supply and delivery, or supply and installation, together with the applicable area, access requirements and responsibilities.
Lead times
Published lead times are estimates. They begin once final measurements, specification and deposit are confirmed. The delivery or installation date will be confirmed with the quotation and may depend on access, weather, materials and agreed changes.
Changes and cancellation
Any requested change may affect price and timing. Bespoke products may enter manufacture soon after approval, so cancellation rights and any resulting costs will be set out in the quotation and applicable law.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any project-specific limits, warranties or guarantees must be stated in the final approved quotation or contract.
