Examples of the larger bespoke sizes we manufacture include 3000 × 2000mm, 3000 × 3000mm, 3000 × 5900mm.
Larger areas can be manufactured as separate panels joined with a clear structural silicone joint for a clean, uninterrupted appearance.
Panels are crane-lifted into position using specialist glass lifting equipment, with careful planning and coordination.
Large and jumbo rooflights are assessed individually according to the overall dimensions, glass specification, weight, number of panels, framing system and installation requirements.
Toughened laminated inner panes on every rooflight we make.

Proud to be part of something special. 🙏 A fantastic project for BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir – the iconic Neasden Temple in London. Today our team successfully crane-lifted and installed the first 5 panels with another 4 to complete. A challenging installation, but what an incredible location to work at. Proud of the SM Glasstech team and proud to contribute to such a landmark project.
Back on site at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir (Neasden Temple) for the second stage of this special project. Another set of these impressive approximately 3m × 3m bespoke high-spec rooflights being carefully crane-lifted into position using specialist glass lifting equipment. From ground level to rooftop and final positioning, every panel requires careful planning, coordination and precision. Very proud of the SM Glasstech team to be involved in such a prestigious London project.

How it works
Design, supply, fabrication and installation are all handled in-house — you deal with one company throughout.
Site visits are arranged after project review, acceptance of the indicative quotation and deposit payment. A full technical drawing for sign-off before anything is cut can then be sent upon request.
We source the glass and UK-manufactured aluminium to the agreed specification, with every component checked on arrival.
Your unit is built in our own Wembley workshop, with welded (not bonded) aluminium frame corners for extra strength.
Our own installation team fits the unit and manages the project through to handover — no subcontracted crews.
