Walk-on glass rooflights take 3–4 weeks once final measurements, specification and deposit are confirmed.
Domestic loading of 1.5kN/m² UDL and 2.0kN concentrated; commercial loading of 4.0kN/m² UDL and 3.6kN concentrated.
The frameless internal design gives a 100% clear opening, so the room beneath sees glass, not frame.
Installed level with the external flooring, so the terrace stays a terrace with no trip hazard.
Anti-slip and obscured finishes are available for exposed or overlooked positions.
Thermal aluminium frame powder coated Anthracite Grey RAL 7016 as standard.
Specification
Everything is made to order, so these figures are the standard build — tell us your sizes and we'll confirm the exact specification on your drawings.
Standard rooflights: approximately 2–3 weeks. Walk-on glass: approximately 3–4 weeks. Large or jumbo rooflights: approximately 5–6 weeks. Examples of larger bespoke sizes include 3000 × 2000mm, 3000 × 3000mm, 3000 × 5900mm. Large and jumbo rooflights are assessed individually because lead time depends on the overall dimensions, glass specification, weight, number of panels, framing system and installation requirements. Lead times begin once final measurements, specification and deposit are confirmed. We’ll confirm the delivery or installation date with your quotation.

How it works
Design, supply, fabrication and installation are all handled in-house — you deal with one company throughout.
A free site visit, measurements and consultation, followed by full technical drawings for sign-off before anything is cut.
We source the glass and UK-manufactured aluminium to the agreed specification, with every component checked on arrival.
Your unit is built in our own Wembley workshop, with welded (not bonded) aluminium frame corners for extra strength.
Our own installation team fits the unit and manages the project through to handover — no subcontracted crews.
